Students from Years 11 to 13 were lucky enough to meet representatives from Lear this week.
Lear, an engineering company that designs and manufactures car seats, visited Myton to encourage future talent. And where better to look than our students?
Prospective apprentice engineers networked with members of the company and could even try out the finished product, as Sixth Former Calan is demonstrating!
Lear offer two types of degree apprenticeship, one for those taking A level Maths and one for Science students who achieve 3 C grades or above. The starting salary is very competitive and, of course, they will graduate with no student loans. Food for thought….
